OP FACTIONS C2 SEASON 3

Hey Everyone, back again for another update for OP Factions.

It was our goal for this season to lay the groundwork for ECPE to have balanced, yet challenging, gameplay. We have done so via an economy reset to begin, changes are not permanent and adjustments will continue to be made as time goes on. Our team has put a lot of effort into documenting features, reducing complexity, and incentivizing our server's player growth by rewarding you for helping us out.


We hope that you'll help us reach our goal of creating an inviting server for new players to discover.


Going forward, we will be shortening the length of OP Factions seasons from 3-4 months to around 2 months. We will no longer be releasing big updates with new seasons and instead introduce them as we complete them and when possible.


I want to thank everyone who took the time to review the new balance changes and sent us feedback for how they felt about it.


ADDITIONS

  • There is now a map at spawn that shows you all the NPC locations at spawn.

  • Almost every item in the game has been updated to provide additional information about it. Such as where to get it and how to use it.


CHANGES

  • Redid slot machine reward odds now includes actual odds and everything dosnt have an equal chance

  • Death Tags earned from slot machines and demigods can be any existing death tag instead of fixed ones

  • Split sharp refinements into 2 different available items on the mob wave shop (t1 and t2)

  • Adjusted mob wave shop items prices (due to decrease in drachma rewards)

  • Adjusted amount of arcana you can gain from destroying books (higher level books give more arcana)

  • You can now obtain Drachmas as a reward for T3 quest and higher.

  • Mob Wave NPC is now a permanent NPC at boss.

  • Changed nether unlock requirement from 200 -> 150 Keys

  • Key Fragments can now drop from all bosses

  • You can click a Key Fragment to use it instead of having to take it to the NPC

  • All explosions from custom enchants and projectiles will no longer affect items on the ground.

  • You can now find Flight Potions in the vote crates

  • You can now apply BOU, BOA and Wraith Enchants to items in the Training Grounds

  • Split FTOP Value and Strength Rewards (these are subject to change in the future)


CURRENCY BALANCES

  • Reduced drachma rewards by 30%

  • Decreased mob coin rewards for loot tables by 40% (all except milestones)

  • Increased voting mob coin gain reward (day 6 and 14) from 20 to 1000

  • Decreased arcana gain from most features. Amounts vary from 50 - 80%

  • Decreased arcana cost per book from 3000 -> 2000

  • Decreased Arcana cost per 30 mins of the obelisk from 10000 -> 5000

  • Decreased Coins gained from crates by 55%

  • Decreased sell prices for crops (around 20 - 40% decrease)

  • Decrease coins gained from Money Pouches by 55%

  • Decrease coins gained from Relics by 55%

  • Decrease sell prices for fish by 60%

  • Decrease the sell prices of fishing Junk by 65%

  • Decrease coin reward from quest by 55%


ENCHANT BALANCES

  • Antimony - (Caduceus Demi Item) Decreased health damage from 2.5 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Bafflement - (Lotus Staff) Decreased health damage from 3 -> 2 hearts.

  • Death Curse - (Dead Grove Bident) Decreased health damage from 2.5 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Drought - (Poseidons Trident) Decreased health damage from 2 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Electrical Strike - (Lightning Rod) Decreased health damage from 2 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Backstab - (Sword of Peleus) Decreased backstab duration bonus damage from 2 -> 1.5 hearts, increased backstab hit bonus from 1.5 -> 2 hearts.

  • Solar Divine - Decreased health damage from 3 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Sunpower - Decreased health damage from 1.5 -> 1 heart

  • Outrage - (Labrys Demi Item) Decreased health damage from 2 -> 1.5 hearts, decreased regeneration level from 4 -> 3

  • Day Empowerment - (Hemera Sword) Decreased the max level this enchant will push resistance from 4 -> 3

  • Demise - (Typhon Sword) Decreased health damage from 1.5 -> 1 heart, decreased slowness and wither duration from 10 -> 8 seconds

  • Dishonor - (Plymouth Sword) No longer does 1.5 hearts on proc

  • Divine Embrace - (Aphros Sword) Decrease absorption max level from 9 -> 8

  • Evil - (Hades Sword) Decreased health damage from 2 -> 1 heart

  • Excalibur - (Saber Sword) Decreased health damage from 2.5 -> 2 hearts

  • Moonblast - (Hecate Sword) Decreased health damage from 2 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Rainbow fire - (Iris Sword) Decreased health damage from 2 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Revenge - (Nemesis Sword) Decrease minimum health damage from 2 -> 1 heart

  • Scramble - (ED Sword) Decreased health damage from 1.5 -> 1 heart

  • Shine - (Aether Sword) Decreased health damage from 2.5 -> 2 hearts

  • TimeStrike - (Chronos Sword) Decreased health damage from 2.5 -> 1.5 hearts, now has a limit of 3 players. Decrease proc chance from 6 -> 4%

  • Titan - (Gale Sword) Decreased strength duration from 10 -> 5 seconds

  • TripleAttack - (Cerberus Sword) Decreased health damage from 2.5 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Tune - (Apollo Sword) Decreased health damage from 1.5 -> 1 heart, now has a limit of 5 players

  • Victory - (Nike Sword) Decreased resistance effect from level 5 -> 3. Decrease number of extra damage hits from 4 -> 3. Decrease additional hit damage from 1.5 -> 1 heart

  • WorldStrike - (Atlas Sword) Decreased health damage from 3 -> 2 hearts. Decrease proc chance from 4 -> 3%

  • SkySplitter - (Skyforge Sword) Decreased strength and regeneration effect duration from 4 -> 3 seconds

  • TagTeam - (Eleos Sword) Decreased health damage from 2 -> 1.5 hearts

  • TideBreaker - (Undead Miners Sword) Decreased health damage from 2.5 -> 2 hearts


  • Berserker - Decreased strength duration from 5 -> 3 seconds. Health restore time decreased by 2 seconds. Health restore amount decreased by 1 heart (for every level)

  • Bleeding - Decrease bleed duration from 4 -> 3 seconds

  • Ingress - Decreased health damage from 1.5 -> 1 heart

  • Lifesteal - Decrease proc chance by 1% per level

  • Lightning - Decreased health damage per level. 1;0.5, 2;0.5, 3;0.75, 4;0.75, 5;1, 6;2

  • Perish - Now has a limit of 3 players, decreased maxium freeze time from 3 -> 2 seconds.

  • Royal - Decrease range from 10 -> 8 blocks

  • Smash - Now has a limit of 3 players, decrease health damage from 1 -> 0.5 hearts

  • Toxic - Level 6 health damage reduced from 1.5 -> 1 heart

  • Unstable - Now has a limit of 3 players

  • Vampire - Decrease proc chance by 1% per level.


  • Perseus Grace - (Perseus Armor Set) Decreased health damage from 2.0 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Apohtic - (Typhon Armor) Decrease lifesteal from 1.5 -> 1 heart

  • Earthwalker - (Demeter Armor) Decreased health damage from 2.0 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Eternal Strength - (Hercules Sword) Decrease temporary resistance from 4 -> 3, Decrease resistance duration from 3 -> 2 seconds

  • Firegod - (Inferno Armor) Decrease health gain from being on fire from 2 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Flameburst - (Hephaestus Armor) Decrease health gain from 3 -> 2.5 hearts. Decrease heal from 2.5 -> 2 hearts

  • GoodDeal - (Hermes Armor) Decreased health damage from 1.5 -> 1 heart, Decrease health gain from 2.5 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Guardian - (Hecate Armor) Decrease base health gain from 2 -> 1.5 hearts

  • KnightsResilience - (Saber Armor) Decrease health proc requirement from 25 -> 20%, Decreased health gained from 25 -> 20% max health

  • Medic - (Apollo Armor) Decreased limit from 4 -> 3 (users that can be affected by the proc)

  • Mythical - (Pegasus Armor) Decrease regeneration 4 duration from 3 -> 1 second

  • RainbowStrike - (Iris Armor) Decrease health damage on proc from 1.5 -> 1 heart. Decreased rainbow strike turret damage from 1.5 -> 1 heart

  • Skylight - (Aether Armor) Decrease health gained from 2 -> 1.5 hearts

  • Shellguard - (Turtle Helmet) Decrease proc rate from 4 -> 3%

  • TruthBearer - (Hemera Armor) Decrease resistance bonus from 4 -> 2%

  • Divine Justice - (Skyforge Armor) Removed 15% damage mitigation, Added a 6 second cooldown for activation


  • Endurance - Decreased resistance bonus from 5 -> 3%, Decrease proc rate to be level / 2. - 1;0.5, 2;1, 3;1.5, 4;2, etc

  • Hardened - Decrease proc rate to be level / 2. - 1;0.5, 2;1, 3;1.5, 4;2, etc, Decreased BOA bonus resistance from 5 -> 2%

  • Last Stand - Decreased health restore amount, level 1 is 30%, level 6 is 60%

  • Shield - Decrease proc rate to be level / 2. - 1;0.5, 2;1, 3;1.5, 4;2, etc

  • SteelBones - Decrease proc rate to be level / 2. - 1;0.5, 2;1, 3;1.5, 4;2, etc


OTHER BALANCES

  • Iron Heart Embed - Decrease bonus armor protection from 1 -> 0.75

  • Updated Potioneer Level requirements to be more reasonable.

  • When a faction is over 9k STR, the amount of STR gained from f challenges decreases by 10% per 1k over 9k. (Max of 80%)


MOB MASHERS

  • Added a new Block called Mob Mashers

  • Mob Mashers are blocks that can be placed to automatically kill mobs in a certain radius.

  • They will kill nearby mobs as long as they have fuel.

  • You can craft Mob Mashers at the blacksmith. There are 3 tiers available; Basic, Advanced, and Industrial.

  • You can upgrade your Mob Mashers by interacting with them. Unlocking things like arcana collection or more fuel storage.


VOTE REWARDS

  • Updated our servers voting process.

  • If you login after you vote, your vote rewards will be automatically given to you.

  • For each day you vote in a row, you gain a streak. Increase the streak to increase the amount of rewards you get.

  • Vote streaks reset at the start of each month

  • The vote party will now only reward the players who voted. Rewards will be sent to your mail.

  • At the start of each month, the top 5 voters will receive additional rewards.

  • Voting now gives users access to emojis and upper case chat for 8 hours

  • Voting will now give users a random modifier that they dont have for 4 hours.


PREMIUM LEVEL REWARDS

  • We are introducing a new set up level rewards that you can earn by purchasing premium level pass.

  • These rewards will be given to you automatically as you level up while having premium level.

  • Completing the premium levels will give you access to the exclusive "Premium" name color.


BUG FIXES

  • Fixed dying in duels breaking your game

  • Fixed faction value over 2 billion not saving

  • Fixed an issue where changing your cape with /cape wouldnt save it

  • Explosions from enchants and projectiles will not longer knockback or destroy items on the ground

  • Fixed an issue where mobs couldnt be hurt in the Training Grounds
